I've entered week two of unemployment.
It's a little like being marooned on an island.
Gotta keep busy to keep sane.
If I start talking to myself, it's only a matter of time before an argument breaks out.
Then it's on.
That's MY coconut!
I saw it first.
Last week I made a pair of trousers. I had never done this, so it was super novel and fun. I dyed the fabric, cut the pattern and sewed it up.
This week I'm back at the music thing and may finally have a new collection of songs out early next month. It's oddly hard because I have such a huge back catalog of unreleased stuff. Piles of half-finished songs.
And, to be honest, it's not holding my attention today ... thus the new JD.
Video games are a dead end. I can't go down there. Might as well take up drugs. Daytime drinking is equally bad, if not worse. Next challege: a pair of shorts.
After that, maybe I'll start looking for work in earnest. It's not easy, as you know. I did a resume a day last week and haven't hears a thing. And I don't have all that high of hopes.
Best ways of keeping sane ...
