And the player of the game goes to...

Mike Callahan! With over a dozen missed calls, money-maker mike gets the player of the game. His efforts led the lakers to the win. Without him, the oafs from L.A. would have lost. Mike showed us what a great laker fan he was tonight, blowing several big calls. The lakers should nominate him for the hall of fame. He is a great 16th man for the lakers roster.

When a player who NEVER complains to the refs gets a technical, I’d think about that. He had a crazy man on him, MWP. Anyone with the first name of Metta deserves to be dropped. And when Wesley gets slapped by Dwight and gets the technical for realizing he just got smacked.

The Blazers were not allowed to breath on Dwight and Lillard gets hit on the head by Kobe and falls to the floor. I didn’t see one ref go over after the game and say,“sorry about the no-call, I wanted to get home early and not watch an over-time” or “Kobe will beat me next game if I don’t let the Lakers win.”

Or when Batum gets slapped on the arm and, not even replaying the play over and over again would change their minds. The least you could do is give Portland the ball. Or when Nic lines up for three and had at least a nickel sized space from the three point line and gets called for a two.

If David Stern commented on the price charge being a miss call, watch out Mike Callahan. David should be ALL over you. You sirs do not deserve to ref again. Hang up your whistles...

But in the end the refs played a major part in the win tonight. The Lakers fans should be very thankful. Shout out to the other 2 refs for letting Mike influence you.

I don’t know your current contract with the Lakers. But Mike, your are undervalued and underpaid. The league needs to notice this and give you a raise. But after tonights performance and winning player of the game, everyone will be talking about you.
