I really enjoyed reading the give and take regarding Chandler and Ross and the rest of the Friend's gang. That conversation was right in my wheel house but unfortunately I was not around for it so I dropped a few comments after the fact (bummer).

Anyway it time for a new junk since the current one is 10 days old and approaching 1000 comments, so I thought I would write a new junk and make the topic about Sit-Coms (a truly dying breed sad to say...although I hope it makes a come-back at some point).

I found it funny that the topic of Chandler's job came up because that was a running gag thru the series. None of the Friends really knew what Chandler did for a living.....Ross got married...a lot....Monica once was overweight and was crazy about neatness...Joey was Joey ("How you doin'?") ect. That is the stuff that I love about sit-coms once they hit their groove...you begin to know the characters so well that that becomes the mechanism for the comedy. Good stuff.

I am currently watching Big Bang Theory and now that it has hit it's stride, I find it hilarious. Sheldon has most of the best recurring bits..."I'm not crazy! My mother had me tested!", "You're setting in my spot",the "Roommate agreement", treating Wollowitz as a simpleton because he "only" has a Masters while the rest are Phd's and his feud with Wil Wheaton. That being said, the other characters also have some good stuff. Penny has no last name(appearently), Amy Farah Fowler has a bi-courious crush on Penny, Raj can only talk to women when he has been drinking. All good fun!

Anyway....I think we should come up with a premise for a new SitCom....Maybe an online Artist who lives in LA, but hates fake boobs...and burritos and can't eat Ketchup because it is too spicey and can't make GIFs. He has a odd circle of friends....one that gives him chicken....another that makes the GIFs for him....the one he met on "Meetblackpeople.com" who still thinks he is a 24 year old African American woman (that could be a recurring bit).
