9,999 and what would have been an awesome 10,001...

Hi everybody, I am a new poster and hope I have not posted something already talked about today. Last night after Aldridge reached 10 points in the first quarter, Mike Rice made reference to the fact that Aldridge was 13 points away from 10,000 career points. I found it intriguing when the blazers were down by 1 point and had the inbounds, no one talked about the moment that could have been. If L.A would have caught that pass and finished the game with 24 points he would have passed the career mark, with 10,001, and would have won the game… so close but I guess at least next game he only needs one point. I wish it would have happened another way.
