First, I just want to say I read something recently on Bleacher Report Team Stream on my iPhone that the Cav's are seeking to trade Andrew Bynum. Apparently coach Mike Brown even said "He never really liked playing basketball anyways". As of now, Bynum has been suspended by the team because his attitude has been detrimental to the team.
Before we go as far to say "we don't need a negative presence around in the locker room", you can't help but at least entertain the idea. I am not guru when dealing with the Salary cap to make it all work, but I would gladly trade any combination of Joel Freeland, Will Barton, Victor Claver and Mo Williams.
Maybe I am just crazy, but I think we actually are really solid at our SG's right now. I think Crabbe is going to be an awesome 3 point shooter, and he is just waiting for his time right now. I also am banking on CJ being able to absorb Mo's minutes and replicate similar stats.
I believe a back up unit of
isn't that bad. And yes, I would have Andrew Bynum be our second center just because Robin Lopez is a stud and deserves to keep his starting position. Also mind you, we would probably have Dame, Wes, or Batum mixed in with that back up unit, so it wouldn't always be Crabbe or CJ on the court together.
This is pure speculation and thought I would see what the Blazer community thinks about such an idea.
Go Zers' beat the Heat.
