Blazer Wins and Playoff Seeds: Info and Poll

The Blazers have won 21 games, with 57 games to go. We don't know what the future holds as far as total wins for the season, but looking to history can give us some insight. The table below shows the average winning percentage and number of wins for each seed in the Western Conference for the past ten years. For example, the average #1 sees has won 74.7% of their games, for 61 wins.

The rest of the table works like this: If the Blazers achieve the winning percentage of the average #1 seed for the rest of the games remaining in the season, they would win 64 games. This would give them the number of wins typically associated with the #1 seed. And so on for each seed. You can see that if the Blazers played like a typical #8 seed for the rest of the season, we would win 53 games, which is the average for the #4 seed. So we'd have home court in the first round even if our success drops to #8 seed levels.

Answer the poll below to share your thoughts on how the Blazers will play the rest of the way, and what their resulting win total and playoff seed will be. Feel free to comment if your answer is "outside of the box" created by the poll.
