So just a quick post on the first few games. What rookies are really setting themselves apart and look like they are going to be good-great in this league? The one that is sticking in my side the most is of course Michael Carter Williams. He was who I wanted the most, considering his size, I figured he would be great with Damian and Nic. "Positions" in the NBA are a not the same that they used to be. Look at the last one for example, Batum had Parker most the night. On pure talent was, I wanted MCW first, and we obviously didn't get him. This is not a bash on McCollum, as I was happy when we got him still, however I was a little bummed. With MCW's length, he would have been very interchangeable at the one, two and three. You can't teach length, and he obviously has quite a nose for the ball, as well as finding the open man. His big hit was shooting, which is something that is a lot more teachable, just by changing a form and repetition. Let me know what other rookies you think are hitting it off that would have been good alternatives to CJ in that draft range that are impressing you so far. I have already stated mine!
