The NBA announced Monday that Portland Trail Blazers All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge is the Western Conference Player of the Week for Nov. 18 to Nov. 24.

Here's the release.

The Washington Wizards' John Wall and the Portland Trail Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge today were named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 24.

Wall led the Wizards to a 3-1 week with averages of 24.3 points (fourth in the conference), 8.5 assists (third in the conference) and 2.75 steals (fifth in the conference). He played 39.8 minutes per game. Wall posted back-to-back point-assist double-doubles to open the week in wins over the Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers. He closed the week with back-to-back 30-plus point performances in a loss to the Toronto Raptors and a win over the New York Knicks.

Aldridge led the Trail Blazers to a 4-0 week behind averages of 22.5 points (tied-fourth in the conference), 10.5 rebounds and 1.75 blocks (10th in the conference). He played 37.7 minutes per game. Aldridge set season-highs in points (30), rebounds (21), and blocks (three) while tying a season high in steals (three) on Nov. 23 in a 113-101 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Here is a recap of the week for Wall and Aldridge:

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Indiana's Paul George, Memphis' Zach Randolph, Miami's LeBron James, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, Portland's Wesley Matthews and Toronto's DeMar DeRozan.

Aldridge has now won Player of the Week four times during his career. He last won in March 2013. He joins Clyde Drexler (11 times) and Brandon Roy (5 times) as the only Blazers to win Player of the Week honors at least four times.

Here's a note from the Blazers' release.

Aldridge tallied 30 points, 21 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocked shots in Saturday's win at Golden State, becoming the second player in the NBA this season to put up 30-plus points and 20-plus rebounds in a game, the third time he has done so in his career.

The last NBA player to log 30 points, 21 rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots in a game was David Robinson on Feb. 27, 1992.
