Newcomers Making Presence Known

We all know the stars on this team -- Lillard and LA get all the national pub, and rightfully so. However, the RipCity fanatics know that Mo Williams, Robin Lopez and Thomas Robinson are making things happen -- those "things" are called WINS.

Last year Portland finished with a disappointing 33 wins. Yes, there were injury issues here and there, but the main issue was lack of depth. Olshey has done an amazing job of filling that need this past offseason and we are now starting to see the fruits of that labor.

Rip City has rattled off 5 straight wins in route to a stupendous 7-2 start -- only the Pacers and Spurs (who we beat!) have a better mark so far. So, when do the Blazers start getting some love? When will the national media take notice and realize that we are a contender this year?

Keep in mind -- we are doing all of this winning without what everyone in the organization considers an intrical piece; CJ McCollum! CJ got his walking boot off this past week and though there is no official timetable for his return, I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing he will be back soon. Let's keep it going!
