Watching the first two preseason games, Crabbe has been a standout. I don't know how he slipped to the second round but it's the blazers' gain. He might not be able to create shots for himself but the way he moves without the ball is a perfect fit for Stotts' system. His defense has been a surprise. Living in Cali, I've seen him play a few times and his shooting stroke and quick release always reminded me of Reggie Miller. I'm not saying he's Reggie Miller. He will never be Reggie Miller but there are similarities not only in the stroke/release but with the calm pace they play with. That demeanor is almost as important as actual skill. The game isn't too big for him. It's why I think he will be a regular part of the rotation this season, even when CJ and Dorell get healthy.
