I know we have Leonard coming back soon and the bench had "good energy and played well" in the Clevland game the other night according to their coach, but I think a little new blood could not hurt. The bench stats are alarmingly bad, and appear to be getting worse. On a per 48 minute basis they are averaging 11.7 pts., shooting .369, .273 on 3's and .662 from the foul line all ranking dead last in the NBA. Their efficiency difference is an embarrassing -14.7, a very distant last place. Clevland at -7.3 is 29th, the Lakers are -5.3 in 28th and Miami at-5.0 is in 27th that is how bad their -14.7 is. I guess the reasoning behind putting this bench together was to save cap space, but would it really hurt anything if they let a couple of these guys go and sign a couple ten day contracts and see what they can do. Who knows they might find a diamond in the rough, sure would like to give it a try I don't think they could get much worse.
