ESPN Radio 1050AM Decatur did a brief interview with Portland Trail Blazers rookie center Meyers Leonard while he attended an Illinois football game last Saturday. Here's a transcript. -------------------------------- How are things going? "Everything has been great so far. I was really happy with how minicamp and Summer League went. I thought our team competed well and we did a good job out in Vegas. I'm excited to get out there soon." What do you want to improve? "I think the long stretch of the season is going to be somewhat tough to deal with but I've always been able to get through it. I always keep my body in very good shape and take care of nutrition and take care of sleeping. I'm just going to come in every single day and learn and work as hard as possible." Compare this year to last year "It's a lot different. Obviously I travel a lot more. It's a different level of competition.
