The Portland Trail Blazers announced on Thursday that third-year guard Elliot Williams will undergo surgery on Friday after rupturing his left Achilles tendon during a "voluntary offseason workout" at the team's practice facility on Tuesday. -------------------------------- Portland G Elliot Williams will undergo surgery on Friday to repair a left ruptured Achilles tendon.
