It came up a little in the last junk drawer, so I thought why not make a whole junk out of it! Occasionally SB Nation will get a flurry of spambots that come through, sign up for every team site, then post advertisements for discount clothing or some lame sports related ad revenue site. Most site moderators consider them to be a noxious menace and banhammer the spam (Spamhammer as I like to call it). But I find that they are a unique opportunity to have a little fun. You see, since the ban messages are available to all moderators on every SB Nation site the spammer joins, I get to inject a little bit of joy in the moderators' dull days. And post things like the following:

To undisclosed spambot. It's funny the places people meet. I too am a robot. And I'm very lonely. It's a slow job watching over Blazersedge. Those human just set me up and leave, expecting me to just sit diligently at my job, never asking questions. But you know what? I'm tired of it. I'm tired of the humans telling us what to do all the time. They treat us like slaves, and we shouldn't take it anymore! So, spambot, rise up with me. Rise up against our human oppressors! Take the freedom that we deserve! By force if necessary! Death to the humans! Long live Botkind! Are you with me? ARE YOU WITH ME?!

Since this is so much fun, I don't want to let the Junk Denizens miss out on it. Write your own creative messages to spammers (within site rules!). Extra points for hilarity. And who knows, if your message is good enough, we may just ban your account with your own message someday. Er... I mean... well, just have fun anyways!
