As part of a larger project down the road, I've been asked to identify the most heroic of cult heroes in Portland Trail Blazers franchise history. We're talking players here, so Bill Schonely and Kevin Pritchard are out. I'm not comfortable making the nomination and pronouncement all by myself so I'm asking you to weigh in today. Nominate your favorite cult hero Blazer in the comment section. Give us an idea of why he's a "cult hero" as opposed to a regular hero or a nobody. What did he mean to you, his team, his era? I'll peruse the suggestions and we'll come up with a final answer.
