As Timmay just reminded the last junk, it's the Perseid (did I spell that right>) meteor shower tonight and tomorrow. I just went out and saw three in about 20 minutes, so that was cool. This year I brought a rocking chair out onto my deck, which made for much more cozy viewing.

It's supposed to peak just before dawn this morning. I haven't decided if I'll wake up at 5. I always remember the Perseids because August 11th is my sister's birthday. Ironically, today I called her on the phone and forgot to wish her a Happy Birthday. She finally reminded me. Oops.
