Sooo.... We got Stotts. Okay, good/bad/indifferent... what now.. Now we have to talk about what we want to see. Stotts has said a whole bunch of very interesting things, ranging from his love of the 3 point shot, to the development of offense to micromanaging the defense.
The question is.. What is Stotts going to have to achieve this year for us to say "Hey! We maybe didn't make it "___" (To the playoffs, past the first round. etc), but it was still a good season" *OR* What is going to make us say "Wow, what a terrible year, we didn't even get to see (The Blazers make it to the playoffs, the Blazers have a winning season, specific player improve as expected) Stotts needs to go!"
Personally, I want to see us back in the playoffs. I know it's unbelievably and incredibly ambitious and far fetched but I want to see Portland in the first round and I want to see a fight there. I want it to come down to the last game of the first round and if it has to (Which I would expect it might) I want to see it come down to the last point, knowing that each game was played with vigor and drive and fight. Then, at that point, if we lost the first round I could live with that and welcome a 2nd season of Stotts. (Or let's just see if we can get Lillard to be R.O.Y and we'll call it a day!)
What do you want to see and/or not see happen this year? (Not be world champs can be omitted from your list)
