Could it be:
That N. Batum, A Miller, R. Fernandez, R.Felton, M Camby, G. Wallace verbalization of frustrations were justified?
That K. Pritchard, T Penn, R Cho, N Macmillan, L. Miller were victims/scapegoats of poor management?
That injuries were management ignoring warnings rather than poor medical staff, etc?
That handling of Darius Miles
..by Memphis was deserved?
While I understand that PTB is a business that the fans and players don’t own…how unreasonable is it for us to expect some accountability from Paul Allen and the Vulcans ( Kolde) for the leadership or lack thereof that they demonstrated these past years
The hirings and subsequent firings may be more a reflection of failures of management choices than personal failures of the individuals that are in a way victims as patterns of recurrence suggest to me
How would this mysterious hiring and firing and misdirection be tolerated in a "real business"
I bet it would be tough to find and retain good personnel (ie free agents) with such a reputation.
I believe this erratic management truly does reflect on all Blazer fans, players and employees
And yet we fans keep our loyalty and hope frequently for a new day and continue faithful support. We love the Blazers!
I for one do see Nic Batum and his perspective as a genuine 23 year old opinion. He has been my favorite blazer.but I do feel the frustration. We all just want to see and enjoy professional level basketball at its best…the players are mostly here…upper management needs repair and a vision
