Let's assume Indy does the math and realizes they can't be financially viable with Hibbert and they can't be competitive without him. They decide they want to start rebuilding as fast as possible and want to start getting as much young talent as possible.
So they enter into our talks with Minnesota because they want something back for Hibbert. If they are rebuilding they want to get young fast. The trade:
Indiapolis sends Granger and Hibbert to Portland. They clear a ton of money off of their cap and start the rebuild.
Portland sends Batum to Minneapolis and Leonard + bench player(Smith, Babbitt, Claver, Freeland, Williams, Barton) to Indy
Minnesota sends Williams + Budinger to Indiapolis
So Portland get's Granger and Hibbert-- BOOYAH
Minnesota get's Batum
Indiapolis get's Leonard, DWilliams + their favorite young bench talent from Portland
Indy is getting screwed but they are in much better shape to start rebuilding than having their entire cap tied up in Granger, Hibbert and West.
Not likely, but awesome for Portland
