Spears: Hasheem Thabeet Agrees To Sign 2-Year Deal With Thunder

Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports on Twitter that Portland Trail Blazers unrestricted free agent center Hasheem Thabeet has agreed to sign a 2-year contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. ------------------------------------- 7-3 center Hasheem Thabeet agrees to two-year deal with Oklahoma City Thunder, source tells Y! Second overall pick in 2009 draft joining his 4th team. ------------------------------------- Royce Young of DailyThunder.com has confirmed the agreement. Thabeet was first linked to the Thunder over the weekend with the Dallas Mavericks also reportedly having interest. On Tuesday, it was reported that Thabeet was "probably a lock" to land in Oklahoma City. Thabeet, 25, was traded to the Blazers by the Houston Rockets as part of a 2012 trade deadline deal for center Marcus Camby. He holds career averages of 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
