I'm beginning to feel the best outcome for us with Nico is to move him to Minny for a S&T. And the player I would want in return is a player who has yet to suit up for them: Budinger. I realize he's not an earth-shaker and his only game, really, is a sniping 3pt shot (duplicating Babbitt a bit), but the real advantage is that he comes with a very, very cheap contract: less than 1 mil/yr for the next two years. This gives us some leverage next season to keep him on the bench and move in a more impactful SF. We could also make them swap Nolan and Ridenour as well, since the latter has a very manageable contract and could backup The Omen. Additionally, as merseykersey just noted, Courtney Lee is now an UFA, so we could bring him into the rotation for cheap as well as a stopgap. What say you?
