After Three years of bad news and unfulfilled hope, a comedic string of season ending injuries, and the sacrifice of our two franchise players, have the Basket ball Gods finally decided to shine their light on our wounded souls? All hope was lost. We were looking at a rebuilding project. All the expectations we had for our young and talented team were wheeled out the door with broken knees. This was going to be a trying time.

Take a shot at the draft and hope we can start again. But what are the odds of landing another core of talented rookies that could turn this Franchise around in only one season? We have been loyal. We have gleaned hope from the smallest rays of light. We have not forgot our misfortune, but have refused to let it ruin us. We have been tested in a most cruel and heartless manner but have never given up.

But this was all part of the plan. For our Loyalty we will be richly rewarded with stars that will shine brighter than those who had burned out. Like a phoenix from the ashes rise two new stars. A headstrong leader with the wings of an eagle and eager young colt with shoulders to carry the weight of the world. A new beginning with all hope renewed.
