Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports that the Los Angeles Clippers could offer Portland Trail Blazers unrestricted free agent guard Jamal Crawford a 3-year contract. ------------------------------- They plan to have free-agent guard Jamal Crawford in for a visit Tuesday at the team’s practice facility, according to sources who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. The Clippers plan to offer Crawford the mid-level exception that starts at $5 million. The Clippers are willing to offer Crawford, a 6-foot-5 guard, at least a three-year deal, sources said. ------------------------------- Crawford decided not to pick up his player option for the 2012-13 season and said that he is seeking a multi-year contract offer after spending one season with the Blazers. He signed a 2-year mid-level contract with a player option with Portland back in December 2011. Crawford, 32, averaged 14.0 points, 3.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 26.9 minutes for the Blazers last season. -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
