Stern met with the media after the Board of Governors held their annual summer meeting, and said the league is looking to add possibly $100 million in revenue by permitting small advertising patches on uniforms starting in the 2013-14 season.
I'm a euro soccer fan so I'm kind of use ads on jerseys to it but it's still kind of upsetting to see the NBA moving towards this.
I wish they weren't the first adopters of this, the NBA gets so much hate already it's dissapointing to see them give the critics more ammo. They should've waited until the MLB or NFL did this first.
Proabably inevitable, the money is too much for them to resist. Better get your jerseys now if you want a pure version because they're all going to come with a "Microsoft" or "Kia" patch.
