This may be a little different than the majority of the appreciation threads that get posted around here, but I have to say at least Kahn made an otherwise uneventful off season exciting...for a time. Now that the Blazers have officially retained Nicholas Batum it would seem that David Kahn's tantrum was for nothing. During the height of this scuffle it seemed that the only way this would be settled would be through an segment on Judge Joe Brown or the very least a physical altercation akin to Jerry Springer. But alas the T-Wolves cleared cap space, failed to get their targeted (get it?) free agent and are looking towards a disgruntled Kevin Love for future success. At least Kahn has created a semi rivalry in an age where traditional rivalries in the NBA are dying off. So here's to the off season that created a lot of noise but few results.
