Peter Vecsey of the New York Post reports on Twitter that Portland Trail Blazers GM Neil Olshey and his agent, Warren LeGarie, were behind a recent story that former Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson wasn't interested in coaching the Blazers because they would prefer that Jackson doesn't join the franchise. ---------------------------------- Olshey is bs'ing. A source says Paul Allen was supposed to meet with Phil... pre-Olshey. Then he & agent Warren LeGarie froze out Phil: No meeting. Phil wanted to come in at a president level... and 'maybe' coach this season, Most likely he would've inserted Brian Shaw & assisted at home games.
