So the roster as it stands looks like this, right?

C - Meyers Leonard, Kurt Thomas
PF - LaMarcus Aldridge, Victor Claver, Joel Freeland, JJ Hickson
SF - Nicolas Batum, Luke Babbitt, Shawne Williams
SG - Wesley Matthews, Elliot Williams, Will Barton
PG - Damian Lillard, Nolan Smith

That's a full 15 players. It's hard to imagine Thomas logging many minutes behind a rookie center likely to get into plenty of foul trouble, which means lots of playing out of position (or undersized, anyway) for Freeland and probably Hickson. I'm not sure what position Claver plays in the NBA, but the whispers on the 'net are that he's not a great shooter, so lots of minutes at small forward and shooting guard seem unlikely.

All of this information, taken collectively, suggests the Blazers are not done with the roster maneuvers they need to complete before the season starts. We are really thin at the point, in particular. Either that, or this may be a long, difficult season, even if everyone stays healthy.
