He has no desire/effort in college? What makes you think he’ll somehow decide to play hard once he has millions of dollars? Let’s suppose he turns out to be Andrew Bynum…the guy who quits on his team down the stretch of games? He might put up monster numbers in normal minutes, but what about a guy who has a will to win…a guy who will inspire his teammates, a guy who will get in the trenches and put everything he has on the court for victory? I’d much prefer someone with a motor that never stops than a guy with “Andrew Bynum potential”. (The guys who win the most championships are the guys with that motor ie MJ, Kobe, Bird, Magic, Russell)
