Sure would help to have more first round picks in a deep draft! Start the rebuild now and get it over with a little sooner then later! Why be the eight seed and get bounced in the first round and not be in a position to improve your team year after year? Why? Might sound a little lame but, I for one aren't ready to say goodbye to the last member of our big 3. The big 3 that never had a chance to BE. This team had so much promise. The future was so bright. Winning the lottery in 07' was a feeling that doesn't come around very often. Not only were Brandon, Greg and Lamarcus great players to build a team with, they were and still are great PEOPLE. Today's NBA stars all seem to be the same. They all wear silly glasses and either wanna play in a major market, or be paired with another star and take the easiest route to the finals. Brandon, Greg and Lamarcus were different. Humble stars who's game did all the talking! No nonsense on or off the court. Just business all day everyday! It hurts that we'll never get to see them, well, BE. Hurts that one of the greatest Blazers ever had to retire way before his time. Hurts that Greg's dream of playing in the NBA is in jeopardy. I'm not ready to root for a bunch of kids I know absolutely know nothing about! I don't know Jeremy Lamb or Andre Drummond. But I know Lamarcus Aldridge! I know what he's had to overcome to be the player he is today! And I know that he's got a lot of great games left in him. Games that I wanna see played in a Blazer uniform! All Star caliber big's don't grow on trees. We've got one that want's to be here! That's enough for me!
