Jason Quick of The Oregonian reports on Twitter that Portland Trail Blazers GM Neil Olshey said that the team will not extend a qualifying offer to forward J.J. Hickson. -------------------------------- Blazers GM Neil Olshey says team will not issue qualifying offer to JJ Hickson but will be open to negotiating on July 1 -------------------------------- The news isn't particularly surprising given that Blazers forward Nicolas Batum received his qualifying offer earlier in the week with no word on Hickson's until Thursday night's Draft, when Olshey still left things open (as documented by BlazerFanSince1970).
