I was surprised to see this had not been done yet. But I felt it was a nice idea to officially welcome Portland's 2 newest blazers to the Team & City.

Feel free to post here words of welcome, encouragement, or that one place that they simply have to try while they are here (As Leonard stated, he barely had any time to acclimate to the city when he was here prior)

So, w/o further ado. Welcome to Portland. I know I don't speak alone when I say we (Mostly we) are happy to have you here and anxious to see watch the individual development and what you can bring that is uniquely each one of you to the lineup.

Leonard, everyone says it's time for a little bulk up. I recommend you start by checking out a Bacon Maple bar @ Voodoo Donuts and work your way from there. Portland has some of the best Happy Hour around. I'd recommend the Ring Side Happy hour or Gustavs' for some German flair.

Be aware that you have come into one of the most dedicated fan bases in the league and that comes with its ups and downs. We will lift you up on our shoulders and proclaim greatness at the first signs of a win but this city has a dark side and can turn on you at the drop of a bucket. Whatever happens, just work hard, be yourselves and the city should mostly fall in line and warm right up.
