Blazers lose Free Agent opportunities

It is not even the free agent period and the Blazers have already lost out on two of their top targets. The reason you ask? The reason is Neil Olshey.

As most know, Olshey was the GM of the Clippers. He and Stern engineered the "great" Chris Paul trade. While that trade was excellent for the clippers, it also pissed several players off. Namely Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman. Prior to Olshey being named GM, Gordon was one of few rumored free agent guards that Portland was high on. However after the way they were treated in LA I do not see either Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman signing in portland.

Olshey is a smooth talker and aside from hyping Canales I cannot fault him for his decisions in 'Portland'. However I am irriated that his previous baggage has potentially cost us two top free agents. Which puts even more pressure on him to strike gold in the draft or trades.
