The Great 2012 Free-For-All BlazersEdge mock draft

For some reason, BlazersEdge has not organized a mock draft this year, like it has done in years past. The format that the site has traditionally used--with individual readers signing up to be the GM of the various teams, and a poll of everyone choosing the Blazers' pick(s), takes too long to set up.

So instead of that, I hereby introduce the Free-For-All mock draft. Rules after the jump.

The rules are:

  • For now, just do the first round.
  • No trades, other than those already on the books.
  • Anyone may introduce a first-round pick (of the Hornets), in the top level of the comments. I'll add a comment containing Anthony Davis. No need to repeat this, though if you think the Hornets might take T-Rob or someone else, feel free to propose that as an alternate top-level comment.
  • Second picks should be replies to a first pick comment. Third picks should be replies to second pick comments. And so on.
  • Feel free to post as many UNIQUE replies to a prior pick as you like; but again, don't repeat something someone else has done. Instead, simply reply with your own pick somewhere on the branch, diverging where you want to be different.
  • No trying to take the same player twice.

I don't know if this will work, but should be interesting.
