I know how most people on BE feel about taking another player from Charlotte but I think for the price, and depending on what we do in the draft and the rest of FA, Augustin could be a valuable pick up. He's a RFA who CHA isn't likely to match since they appear sold on Kemba Walker as their new PG. They split minutes pretty evenly most of this season.

His career numbers are posted below. Last season, the worst season in the history of the NBA, he still had a better PER then Felton, which included less turnovers and honestly no one to pass to.

I think if he can be snagged for 3-4 mill a year (his last contract was 3.2), he would be a great back up or a serviceable starting pg on our team that would still allow us to sign another big name if we go that route. Who knows, re-uniting him with a good decent team and a fellow Longhorn in LA could re-ignite his game and make him a steal at that price. Maybe we could even work out a sign and trade with CHA and free up even more cap space. With Jordan at the helm, you can never be too sure.
