In the early stages of the Goran Dragic conversation, Dave smartly made the case that Kyle Lowry could theoretically make more sense for Houston to move because they would receive assets in return. Not long ago on 1080 the Fan, Mike Barrett made a similar indication with regards to the case of Omer Asik and Joakim Noah. It was the first his name had ever come into my mind as a potential trade target for the Blazers this offseason.
Stylistically, I can't think of a much better compliment to Lamarcus Aldridge and for similar reasons JJ "Thunderdunk" Hickson than Joakim Noah. He's a great rebounder, great shot blocker, has a great motor, doesn't command touches, can hit a short jumper, and can pass from the high post.
Well? Crazy? Don't want? Love it? No chance the Bulls move him?
That would solidify the frontline, especially if Joel came back and was big #4 behind Aldridge, Noah, and Hickson. Noah's contract has him making between 11.1 and 13.4 million until 2015-16.
Apparently he also mentioned Al Horford.
