This is what I want to know and the fact that I do not know tells me a lot about the Blazers communication with their fans, there is none. Are they going to re-build through the draft this year if they land 2 top 10 picks? Or are they going to make trades to build around LaMarcus Aldridge? I know there are a lot of options but with no GM, no coach and Larry Miller saying he has it down to 3 GMs that are currently with good up and coming teams makes me wonder if anyone knows what’s going on in Blazers front office. Where is the communication... is it Rise with us or we don’t really care about you?
I was reading an article earlier from davemike, “Hard to be a fan of a team that is so poorly managed” and I agree. You cheer for the entire organization not just the players. At some point you have to say enough is an enough. I will always be a Blazers fan no matter what but at some point you have to stop cheering for ownership if they treat you, the fan, as if you don’t matter. Maybe take a stand like the Dodgers fans did. They still cheered on the team but in their own way. They went to bars, had parties and rented out spaces to watch the games instead of going to the stadium to give money to ownership.
Dodger’s fans made a point and it was heard loud and clear. The last 2 season at Chavez Ravine the parking lot was half full, people would rather walk a few miles then pay the owner money. Attendance was half of what it was and I'm a Dodger fan and that place was always packed no matter what. Nobody wanted to give the owner money. Is it time Blazers fans showed Paul Allen how we feel by not going to the games, by not paying for tickets, parking or concessions? The Blazers already are keeping fans from watching the team on TV. I’m just saying the Blazers need to get their act together already. You can only have so many chances until you become the Kings or Atlanta Hawks type organization.
