What do you all think of this?

Given the circumstances, I no longer want Batum.

Airete laid it out nicely — the only way to get him is to pay more than the Blazers are willing to pay, and I don’t want to go as high as I expect that to be.

My opinion of him cooled a bit after looking at his +/- numbers. His 2-year adjusted value (the “adjusted” part means it is the result of a regression analysis intended to control for lineups) is negative and borderline statistically significant. That doesn’t happen all that often. His +/- and accompanying standard error rank him near the likes of JJ Barea, Shawn Marion, and Nick Young. I’d still like him at the right price, but that stat scares me a bit.
