When Oden was rehabbing at the Trail Blazers' practice facility, he would dodge the media and quickly head to the weight room where media members are prohibited. Conley gives an explanation for Oden's avoidance. "Greg didn't want to be a distraction," Conley said. "He didn't want all the attention to be on him during the season.
