I'm a Vikings fan so I often go to their SB site, the Daily Norseman. (if you don't want to read my explanation, go to the link and see if you notice something about their fan posts...) After being spoiled by the greatness of BE (I only started reading DN recently), I was disappointed to see the lack of community spirit and organization. I wrote a very long and in depth fan post about the draft, a mock, fun games to play, analysis, etc. I wrote it this afternoon and it is already not in the front page. You will see there have been repeat Fan Posts about a rumor spreading about a trade with the Bills. It should be a fan shot and even then should not be posted multiple times. My reaction is not my frustration about having no one comment on my post, it is a frustration with how the community over there views a team fan blog. I love my Vikings to death but it's sad to read about how people don't want to abide by the 'fan shot' rules because they're worried fewer people will read them. Therefore, instead of creating room for a discussion, they opt for more views. I love you BE for having such a strong community of passionate fans who want to enter a forum, rather than hear their own voice.
