After a 1-2 performance from deep from Babbitt, he needs two more made threes to be a qualified player and there is still a real chance he could take home the crown. Currently he sits at #3 at .457 (Novak .468, Miller .467) but if his final performance is a particularly good one (say, 3 of 4 from downtown) that alone would put him in first. Bad outings from Novak or Miller could do the trick as well.
Babbitt currently does not have enough made three pointers to qualify for the competition for best 3-Pt shooter in the NBA this season. If he did he would win it by far (based on shooting %). If Mike Tokito is correct, he needs 44 made threes to be a "qualified player" under consideration for the crown. Currently he has 33. 11 threes in 6 games is totally doable. And something we can cheer for over the next 10 days. Go Luke!
