I have been doing a little research at the 4th,5th and 6th pick for a little over the last decade. There are some amazing talents almost every year at the 4th and 5th pick. Like I said "almost"
Let me list some of the names off...
4th pick.
Mike Conley
5th pick.
Dwyane Wade
Jeff Green
As you can see there's a pretty high percentage chance that the blazers could land a very good talent (I'm not doing the percentages of it all, but it's pretty high at the 4th or 5th pick" A lot higher chance then at the 6th or 7th. The level of talent after the 6th pick drops dramatically. One of the best I could find at the 6th pick was of course Brandon Roy but also Danilio Gallinari, Chris Kaman, and Shane Battier, so it's not that great besides Roy, all Id say won't ever be super stars. So in conclusion, Portland, we need that 4th or 5th pick!
Thoughts? Who do you think at the 4th and 5th pick could turn out to be stars?
