Seems to me the Wolves biggest problems are at Gaurd and Small Forward. They also currently have 3 competent PG's in Rubio, Barea and Ridnour (with Ridnour currently playing SG). And though Rubio is obviously be a great rebuilding piece and a great player, I think Minnesota is making the switch from being "rebuilding" to "looking to win now" so I wonder if Rubio is as untouchable as everyone thinks though granted it would take a lot to get him. (If anyone has noticed, Barea's been getting 20-25 min./game lately) I also think Rubio would be an insanely good compliment to both LMA and Batum and even Matthews to a lesser extent (just please don't pass to him on the fast break!).
So bear with me here. What if we offered Wallace and Crawford for Rubio, Randolph and Darko? MN has more PF's then they know what to do with and Williams is easily the best back-up so losing Randolph means nothing (though he could be a nice back-up PF for us), They also have 3 Centers and I think would love to dump Darko's contract with Pekovic playing so well and Miller back. They would still have two good point gaurds and I think would be a much improved team with Pekovic/Love/Wallace/Crawford/Ridnour (or Berea) while we become Camby/LMA/Batum/Matthews/Rubio
Then we have other options as we still have Felton and Camby's big expiring contract to work with. Maybe we could package them together for a reliable starting Center...like Okafer... Or go after one via FA this summer. Or we could just trade Felton for a draft pick...or a pack of gum...
