March Madness is HERE!!--- Draft Drawer

The Big East tournament kicked off today, which, in my opinion, marks the official start of March Madness (no offense to the Mid Major's who have already crowned Champions). This is the time of year where the collegiate greats emerge from the pack and announce their NBA-readiness.

Everyone has their favorite teams and favorite players, and that sleeper pick, who nobody else has discovered, that will put their favoritve pro team over the top next season. This is the place all things March Madness and NBA draft.

Who you got? And who should the Blazers draft?

I'm not sure the likelyhood of any of my favorites getting drafted, but I'll just list a few guys that I like, and see if Blazers Edge agrees.

Tony Wroten- Guard, Washington, Freshman- 6 foot 5 averaging 16-5-4, Don't know if he'll go one and done, but definitely has a statline worthy of it. Not sure if he's an NBA PG or not, but he can score, and our last Guard from UW worked out pretty well.

Damian Lillard- PG, Weber State, Junior- I'll be totally honest, just came accross this guy on ESPN's prospect list. 25-5-4 and a 43% 3pt shooter. He's a small school guy, but he's projected as Mid 1st round, which is where (I think) we'll be picking.

Gorgui Dieng- C, Louisville, Soph- Another ESPN find. 6'11 with a 7'4 wingspan, averaging 9-9 and 3 blocks per game. We could always use a rebounder and shot blocker to replace Camby and Pryz.

Robert Sacre- C- Gonzaga, Senior- Not gonna lie, I've been in love with him since at least last season. Legit 7 footer, 12-6 and 1.5 BPG, and he's athletic enough to lock down St Mary's latest Aussie PG. Projected as 2nd rd or Undrafted, which means we can get him dirt cheap to provide some depth for our soon to be retired front court.

Just a few of my ideas, please add your own.
