Hey, I'll start with a general basketball question since I've been converted from the NHL. In the NHL, the MVP award specifically states that it's awarded to the player "most valuable to his team". This little qualifier has previously (though not often enough in my opinion) led to an MVP who wasn't on one of the top teams in the league...and I love it (see Corey Perry last year). Does the NBA award have any similar qualifier? If it does, guys like Wade and Lebron or even KD would have a harder time winning and guys like LMA or Kevin Love would merit serious consideration. So...what's the deal? And if that WERE the case, who do you think deserves the MVP?
