For those of you who have followed this young guys career you should already know, but for those who say he's a bust I wouldn't go that far yet. Thabeet (Jermaine O'neal) is a tall lengthy player who was drafted by a team that didn't have anything going for them in Memphis. You really think Randolph ( Rasheed Wallace) would take this guy under his wing when no one had done it for him the closest thing he had was Pau Gasol who was traded to the Lakers for his brother Marc. So you got 2 big rookies one has a brother on a different team but I highly doubt Pau didn't teach him something about the league. As for the young Thabeet I feel he was looked at as a threat by the vets on the team. Let's say that he was drafted to a team such as San Antonio, Tim Duncan enough said. Now this young star has found himself on the bench for the most part of his career to good for D-league, but doesn't understand the game to be able to get the playing time, so he is traded to Houston to learn behind Yao, man that would have been something if Yao hadn't had his career ended by injury. He rides the pine again. Then he is traded this year, you all know the deal Flynn, Thabeet, and a 2nd round pick for Marcus Camby, who by the way is out for the season maybe done for good ( HAHA) sorry had to add that I personally have never liked the guys. Now he is with us on the bench, but here is the difference what if we give him that chance that Indiana gave Jermaine, I mean look at it, he has a 7'0'' center in Joel "The Thrilla" Przybilla to learn from and quite honestly I want Joel resigned next year for a descent 3 year deal. The case has been written for this young man who I wouldn't have a problem resigning as well as Flynn at the end of the season. I personally believe that he will do better then he has given the chance.
