Mark Bunster has a column on TheBreakDownShow.com reflecting on his initial reactions to a busy "blow it up" trade deadline last Thursday. It includes some thoughts on renewing season tickets.

I didn’t know what to say, except blech. Who wants to talk about their team circling the drain? And until the Knicks game, I still held a kernel of hope that I didn’t want to bury by declaring the team an unholy, irredeemable mess. So I kept quiet, huddled in the den shivering, running video of Ray Felton throwing a pass five rows into the seats over and over.
I thought of the poor guy from the Blazers organization who had to call me and try to pitch a ticket package renewal (even suggesting a bigger one). I said "I’d really feel better about it if the team had a GM," and he actually said he didn’t think a GM was all that important. I spewed a sesame seed from my bagel, shooting it across the desk. Poor sucker. Not only was I not so much into the idea of watching this a dozen times next year, I was wondering if I wanted to go to the ones I still had tickets for THIS season.
