This is just breaking on Yahoo! Sports, D'antoni has resigned as coach of the Knicks. I was hesitant to jump on the "Fire Nate" bandwagon until last night. But would it make sense? Keep Felton, who thrived under D'antoni's system in NY, and reunite them next season.
It would also provide a change of the guard for the Blazers and put the team in a totally different direction, which maybe reinvigorates some players that have, apparently, just burned out with the current regime.
I think Nate's been a good coach, but if it's time to change directions, at least you know the direction D'antoni will go with the team will be fast-paced and FUN TO WATCH.
Maybe a long shot, but with all the other speculation going on, why not speculate about this?
