I was going through my usual routine of trying to jam the little me marker thingie as far to the left as possible (never quite able to get past zero into negative territory) when it suddenly struck me: what the heck are we really supposed to be measuring here? You well might wonder why I'm even bringing this up. For starters, I like to ask questions about just about anything. Also, some degree of precision in matters like these seems mildly important. Finally, I think Dave uses the fan poll as his sort of diving rod in order to judge the mood of Bedgers, so I'm sure he would like to know just what our mood pertains to. So, here are a few options for what the fan confidence poll is actually intended to measure:
Poll
What do you think the fan confidence poll should actually be measuring?
The chances of the Blazers making the playoffs (24 votes)
The odds of Felton throwing another bullet pass into the stands (12 votes)
Whether Paul Allen will sell the team within a year or two (3 votes)
There will be a GM hired by the beginning of next seasson (13 votes)
Nate still being the coach when next season starts (19 votes)
