This is a reminder that Fanposts are supposed to bring either detailed argument or a fresh and well-explained point of view to the table. The sidebar is not the same as your standard internet forum. There's not room for everybody to repeat the same point of view in six different ways. Nor is the sidebar designed for single-sentence thoughts.
The design is intentional. We'd like you to talk with each other instead of splattering opinions all over the page. If you're thinking about making a Fanpost the first step is to ask whether it could be a comment under an existing thread. If it can, please make it so, contributing to an ongoing conversation instead of trying to start a new one.
Another way of putting it: view Fanposts like you're a co-writer on the site rather than a person leaving comments on a typical forum. There's room for those comments too, but they're in posts relating to their topics.
This remains true even when the team is doing exceptionally well or poorly and you're celebrating or venting. The place for most of those thoughts is the post-game threads.
