Did you know?
That Happy Days continued for an additional 6 seasons after the “jumping the shark” episode originally aired ?
"What began as a credible protest against bank bailouts, crony capitalism and the like has, in large measure, been hijacked by crazies and criminals,"
yehh, six seasons more, but the show was done after jumping the shark...
this season is done, but there are more games to be suffered through.

That being said
Happy Days finished the following season (6th) as the #4 show in all of what was then known as ….America
"What began as a credible protest against bank bailouts, crony capitalism and the like has, in large measure, been hijacked by crazies and criminals,"
And then lost in the first round...

Yeah, they lost hard-fought series to Three's Company.
Jack Tripper was unstoppable with his mid-range J, the backcourt of Chrissy and Janet stroked it from deep, and Mr. Furley manned the middle.
"I Am Mine"
While Furley did a decent job of manning the five
His detractors still lamented the trade that sent the Ropers away. It was obvious right away that even though Furley had some quicker moves, some fans would have gladly traded it for the more dependable, plodding style that the Ropers had brought to the team.
Eventually this move and the loss of Chrissy on the team led to a couple seasons mired in mediocrity and ever increasing turnovers that sent true fans into premature fits of nostalgia for seasons only a few years past.

That's right. Don Knotts' best days were far behind him when he was acquired by the Three's.
Long gone were the glory days he enjoyed with the Mayberrys.

You knew his best days were behind him when he started wearing the supportive ascot

Jack Tripper kept insisting he was a tweener forward
just so Chrissy and Janet wouldn’t suspect he was trying to sneak into the backcourt with them.

Like Happy Days, the Blazers should hire Ted McGinley in some capacity.
McGinley and mediocrity go hand in hand.
"I Am Mine"
Ted McGinley didn't hurt Married With Children at all
But he he didn’t do much one way or another for Love Boat

This episode was awesome!

AL: "Jefferson hand me those “L” brackets.
Jefferson: "There are no “L” brakets…all I have are these sevens"

Here's one of my favorite Married With Children moments.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=odLmgTTmu-8
It’s a Bud related episode, as he was by far my favorite character on the show.
"I Am Mine"
Why is that video flipped?

Given the indescriminate nature of of DMCA takedowns.
I have my doubts. It makes me think of the crazies that cite bizzare, imaginary loopholes as justifications for not filing taxes.
“I am only legally obligated to report income that is asked about on the form, and I am not legally obligated to use ther form suppled to me by the guvmint. So I file my taxes on this here cocktail napkin whcih — as you can plainly see — does not have enough room to record wages or interest.”

I have my doubts, too, and those who upload such material take a risk.
But I’m glad they do it, though.

You have a soft side for lovable losers
I wasn’t really surprised that he was the only actor on that show who never mattered again. Well, he did get remembered enough to play that role again on Entourage. There are probably worse acting careers for former child “stars”.
Eveidenty he was also on Dynasty
And I remember him being in Revenge of the Nerds

Ted McGinley provided the perfect counterpoint to
to Robert Carradines tour de force performance as the larger than life, balls to the wall, hyper-idealistic, self proclaimed nerd Lewis Skolnic in 1984’s Revenge of the Nerds.
Who can forget when, as the Alpha Alpha-Beta Stan Gable was confronted with Julia Montgomery’s character Betty Childs amorous intentions, he turned to her and said, “Betty, you’re just like a goat!”
